Special chorus practice

We Manila Glee Club will sing several songs at the 8th Asia Japanese male choir festival on March 3rd in Jakarta. To have better performance, we had a special practice yesterday. To
check the tone of concerned part, I asked to sing again and again. Also I explained how I want them to sing melodies.
After 8 hours practice, I was sure that our performance became better and we could improve more by the concert. I'm looking forward to having our stage in Jakarta.

First working day in 2012

I spent the first working day in the office in Japan. I had a couple of meetings about planning for FY2012.
To wear formal attire made me tired. I want to wear a kind of relaxed style like cool-biz. I need to wait for a half year.

New washing machine

Previously used washing machine was broken on the day when I came back to Japan. Though I bright my laundry from the Philippines. Hahaha.

The next day, my wife and I went shopping for a new washing machine. Firstly we were planning to buy a conventional one. But we found that we could buy a drum type at a cheaper price and decided to get it.
After a few days, it was delivered. For a trial, we washed my laundry first. When the machine started, we found the sound is very low. According to the manual, water consumption is also low. So we can save some of expenses.
My wife enjoys to use it everyday. This is a kind of Xmas present.

New year's card

I sent more than 200 new year's cards as usual. Basically topics what we are thinking, what we are interested in, or what we are doing, are written in the card. I believe some of my friends are looking forward to reading it.
For the 2012 card, younger daughter designed dragon illustration, actually which is eraser-block print. You can see it on my Facebook page.

What songs shall I sing?

In 2011, we, Manila Glee Club sang many wonderful songs. Most impressive songs were the songs from Japanese song medley 'Furusato no shiki', which we sang at the charity concert 'Sing for Japan' in April. Some of listers in the hall told us they could remembered the scenery in Japan. Actually my tears was almost flowing from my eyes while I was conducting.

In 2012, we shall have many chances to sing. I'm sure we can meet more wonderful songs this year.

It's waste of time....

I went to the immigration office to apply extend visa. Our secretary asked me to attend her for visa application, however, an officer explained us it is not mandated my presence and ask us the further document attached with my profile photo. In addition on the way to the office, it took long time to teach the office. Hahaha very unuseful afternoon.

Trial usage of blog press via iPhone

I have not written any article for a long time. However, now I have a mobile gadget to access freely here on the Philippines so I will write something I am feeling at any time.
I'm not sure I can continue to do so.
Anyway this is the first step.

超久し振りの投稿

いつから放置していたのだろうか、とにかく、まったく書いてなかったことは確か。blogpetさんが、せっせと書いてたのさえ、読んでいなかったし。。
spamコメントがどうなってるかも、ほんと確認していない。。表には変なのは出ていないことだけ。

という訳で、iPadを購入し、アプリまでも買ってしまったので、時々は書いてみようじゃないの。もう誰も読んでいないだろうから、好き放題書いてしまおうかな。
